Pathing Bug

Seems my fleet commander forgot the basics of map reading...although a star map might be slightly more complicated.

Note in the bottom pic they are trying to go through 3 jumps when if they went down one, they could go directly to the planet they are tryin to reach.

Yeah there are still a few path finding issues, but its better than it once was... Nothing was worse than 30-40 of your ships flying into the planet and then all getting jumbled up before getting around it...

The two-jump path is longer overall, though, so it's hard to say if it would really be that much faster. I'd say the phase pathing just needs to account for in-well transit and re-formation time.

Hmm... I gotta look for it gonna take me a minute or so. I may have to get back ta ya on this one. Im working 16-18 hour days at the moment so I don't have much time to play, but I am home on lunch. I will try to find it now...

Kryo is correct. The estimate is based on only distance. Once we account for the in-system + form up time the other path will be chosen.
