Bounty on a dead race

Bounties are fine i have no real problem with them
But one issue that I have found is that when you wipe out a player their bounty is still there and can still be increased. I think that the player who conquers the last planet of a race the conquerer should get the remaining balance of the bounty and reset to zero and blocked out. Also on a side note if there are ant remaining ships from said race they should become pirates.

That's odd, I seem to recall that I was unable to place additional bounty on eliminated players last I tried it.

Yeah, I've tried to increase bounty on dead players and I can't. Maybe you don't have the latest patch or something?

The OP didn't specifically mention how, or that the player could. But I'm fairly certain I've seen the AI increase it after an empire has been vanquished.
