How played around 16 hours covering around 6 different games. The game has worked perfectly for me as far as the programming goes, the interface works greats and has basically all the information that need to this point. The theme and scale of the game is great I love the carriers and the massive fleets than can be build as well as he added Skills added to each capital ship as it gains experience.
The tech tree and research needs to be either expanded or the costs of the items increased it is much to easy to complete all the research quickly. Income once you have two or three systems comes in much too fast especially when you can sell your excess metal and buy crystals or convert to cash. Maybe if the AI would be more agressive and take some of the systems you hold this income flow could be slowed. Myself I would perfer a combination with both elements.
The AI is not agressive enough and only builds a limited number of capital ships. It seems to build enough ships but mainly cruisers and frigates, especially robotic frigates.
I conquered three complete star systems with 6 differnt fractions and only engaged a few carriers and not battleships. So the AI building program must be improved, maybe a ratio say 5 frigates of different types and two cruisers with a capital ship more battleship may be a 2 to one ratio versus carriers with the special be throw in every tenth capital ship this would balance there fleet more.
There is just not enough in the game to keep my interest, new races which you have planned , a better AI more agressive and building better fleets and larger tech tree,
more options for the capital ships.
I love the game and am looking forward to more additions. Have been a rts player for over 20 years and this game has potential but the game needs to be more intense to keep you on the edge of your seat and more items for us to research and keep us busy.
