I know it's coming, but when, dare I ask?

I've played SINS now countless times, with all sorts of different scenarios fighting the AI with. Unfortunately the game is starting to get boring, if only for that fact that the AI really doesn't put up much in the way of opposition. So, with that in mind, I have two questions.

1) When does the official multiplayer beta with multiplayer service come out / or what's it slated for?

2) If the multiplayer service isn't something viable as of yet, I was wondering... how hard would it be to let us play LAN multiplayer only? I know that my roommates and myself would KILL to be able to get a 4-way multiplayer session of SINS going.

I know this is a reach, but I really can't wait to play this with human players.

lan MP would be good, and hamachi would be good, to use to connect several people using the lan service, have to admit mind, the AI really isn't much at the mo,

Yeah, I really hope that IC lets us download a few more copies of the mp beta so we can try it out with our friends over lan and such, and that we don't have to play just over the net with other beta users.

They've said that it'll be at the end of summer before we see Beta 3 with Multiplayer function.
