Tactical and maybe logisticsbug with queue's

I noticed a bug when I had queued up a significant amount of tactical structures. Since I had begun working on increasing the tactical cap on the planet, the game let me place additional tactical structures. The system currently had no structures at all. The construction frigate appeared to be working on building the first one, but I noticed no progress being made, presumably it was waiting for the tactical cap increase to be completed.

I didn't get a chance to test this with logistical structures but it may be an issue there as well.

Hobbess the game is supposed to do this. It also does this if you build a structure that is still being researched. This is so that you don't have to keep checking your planet's to see if they are ready for more structures resulting in less micro management.

Right, but this was a planet that had no structures on it yet at all whatsoever. I queued up a repair station and 3 cannons and then was told I needed to raise the cap at the planet before placing more. So I clicked over, began working on the increased cap, and then began placing more structures.

The ship should have been able to begin construction on at least the first 4 structures, but instead it couldn't start at all because it thought I was trying to build above my current cap.

Did you have the research for the repair station completed? I've never seen my constructors wait when they could legitimately continue construction like that.

Tried it throughout the rest of the game tonight. I was definitely able to reproduce it. I even had a constructor stop building something 34% of the way in. I had cleared them entirely of enemy structures. Also occurred for both logistics and tactical structures. And yes I had the repair station researched.

Give it a try yourselves, obviously would be strange to just be in my game, but confirmation by another would be good too. I just tried this inside of a brand new game (with high resources it's easy).

1) Place structures to fill the current cap, construction frigate will begin moving towards the first building. (5 Gauss cannons for instance)
2) Begin upgrading the cap from the planet (tactical obviously)
3) Queue more structures of the same type (another cannon if you are testing in a fresh game)

Should result in the construction frigate not actually building the first cannon until the cap increase has completed.

Problem is, I do what you describe quite frequently and don't see it! Next game I'll pay more attention and double check though, just in case.

Having just payed more attention, the construction frigates moves up to the qued item, starts "beaming" it with construction... but doesn't actually build it. My apologies! I'll play around with this some more, see if there are other ways to trigger this or if it only happens when it hasn't started construction on teh building yet.

Thank you for the detailed description on how to recreate this bug! It is now fixed and your modules will construct until they can construct no more! (when they really run out of actual slots).

So, when do we get to download the new patch?
