I do know the final game will have an intro video, but for ingame videos im not sure

I don't wanna see it just yet, because, yes, I do want surprises. I just wanted to know if there were any.

by revival i mean most games. not C&C which has always been good live action.

A total waste of development time in my view.I would prefer 20 ingame ships and have a cartoon style story board than weak cut scenes which 99% of games have.

There will be a pre-rendered intro video at the very least, yes.  You won't see it during the beta test, however.
