I expect half of america ... at least! ... to be in the lines on opening day. Probably closer to 2/3s.

I got bored of the simpsons a while back, two TV channels in the UK kept repeating the same seasons over and over, personally I won't be watching it

Did they ever decide which Springfield was where they were going to premiere it?

The series has been lagging for quite some time now, but the movie looks awe-some.

Ah, ok, it goes Springfield>UK>Australia and the EU (take that France!)>then the rest of the US and Canada (apparently).

I don't get why a film can't be released worldwide at the same time, getting The Simpsons movie before the US is great, but I was clawing at the walls waiting the two weeks between Serenity's US release and the UK release.

The rest of the world (ie me) needs to get a film first once in a while.

I have entire seasons of TV ruined because the US gets it first and some fool didn't post a spoiler alert in his thread (or I just glean it from somewhere subconsciously).

I didn't care for Serenity
