I just don't get it.You have a playdo game followed by shallow looking rts and 4x game. The whole game seems a gimmick.

I used to be interested in this game to the point of obsession, but thought of a long wait drained my enthusiasm, in fact I get depressed talking about it *goes off and injects self with Halo 3*.

I will most likely still buy this thing, although I fear I may be drawing a pension when it *finally* comes out.

So did I, and the wait and lack of updates made me...bored and stuff.

He he. Am I the youngest person on these boards? I'm 15 (lol I could start learning to drive yesterday!)!

Your a stereotypical high schooler (aka obsessed with x-box and halo.). Believe it or not, I NEVER got into Halo, at all (yes I've played 1 and 2). One kid at my school is so obsessed with it I swear he sleeps with his 360...and his friend, whom doesn't own x-box or the 360, always talks about the kid who does! And I'm like "For the 8,000th time Feenan, I DON'T CARE ABOUT JEREMY AND HIS SEXUAL LIFE WITH HIS 360!" (Feenan = doesn't have 360, Jeremy= sleeps with it).

Same here, I've pretty much skipped the 360... Its too casual...

The only next-gen I have is the Wii (I will always love Nintendo..). I kinda want a PS3 because my PS2 broke so I have a whole ton of PS2 games just lying around...but I want a 360 because of Beautiful Katamari...but I want a new computer because of Spore and SINS.

I think I'll get a 360 and then a new compy...hopefully my sister will get another PS2.

I'm only a newcomer to the 360 and Halo, and I am by no definition a fanboy (although yes I am thoroughly looking forward to Halo 3, Mass Effect etc I will not fight to the death in their name), I do not flame people when they point out flaws (some true) with the console or its games, quite frankly, those people (who very sadly make up the majority of the 360 population) are not doing the rest of us any favours.

And yes, there are people who sleep with their 360's, although they ruin the USB ports...

I have a PS2, a 360 and a ramped up PC yet I still catch myself playing Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island and...get this...I go outside   .

I'm 15

I'll be 17 in September, gosh I feel old all of a sudden.

(lol I could start learning to drive yesterday!)!

Driving is awesome, just don't forget the clutch like...uh...someone I know did...

LMAO! The old Lucasarts games!

Yeah, I don't really go outside all that much, but I am doing Marching Band (starts Thursday )

I'm wanting a 360 more and more... if I get one I might get Halo 3.. but I really want Beautiful Katamari, GTA4 (although my mom wouldn't let me play it all that much cuz of my 3 year old brother, he can't hear or see that stuff) and Mass Effect (thats the one made by the people who made KOTOR, right? Man I love KOTOR...)

How much does the online thinggy for the 360 cost each year (X-Box live I believe?)?

My only issues with the 360 are 1) its made by Microsquish and 2) the controller is...just weird...

Um, in the UK U think the average rule of thumb is £4.99 a month, £14.99 for three months and £30 something for a whole year...so....*does calculations with superhuman prowess*

You can upgrade your Silver Xbox Live membership (which means you can log on and chat to friends download stuff etc, that bit is free) to Gold (play games online)for just $49.99 for a year, $7.99 for one month, and $19.99 for three months.

(Hey, where'd the edit button go)

1) its made by Microsquish and

That is a shame

2) the controller is...just weird...

I thought so too but they're actually quite...comfortable, especially the ones not made by Microsoft (Mad Catz for example)
I kinda want the pro version but its 400 bones... and 1 game would make it $450. Another controller or game would make it $500.

I'm not so sure I can get this for X-mas + my birthday (they're less than a month away from each other so if I want something big I ask for it for both). I wish we could win the lottery, but I have a greater chance of getting hit by lightning and getting the 360 as a get well soon present assuming I survive.

Is it just me or has this thread gotten off topic?

Isn't Spore out for the 360 as well?

Its supposed to be... I just hope they aren't delaying it so it can be released across all the platforms at the same time.

I have to admit, that even though it looks all cutesy and stuff it looks like a very ambitious project. The scale just seems mind blowing.

And I have to agree with what someone said a while back, tho the name escapes me. But he said it takes a man like Will Wright to bring innovation to the genre. And I just have to agree with that.

Will Wright and Peter Molyneux are two of my favorite game developers. Oh and Blair and Craig too!
