This Will Make You Laugh!

I think the AI is becoming desparate. I guess it's a bug?

LOL - It's also phase-inhibitor immune. It jumped back after attacking me for a few seconds.

Now that's bloody weird... I didn't know you could even move those things.

if it can move that would make it alot more useful as a scouting tool

Thats almost as bad as the time my LRMFs fired their missiles at a phase jumping ship, and the missiles followed the ship very slowly via the phase lane.... and then the ship returned and the missiles turned around and followed the ship back!

Haha nice one.

But soon (i hope) the AI will make you desparate

Me too, the AI is quite disappointing.

It needs to be more imperialistic and try to take more risk in getting planets.

I have been able to cut my game time in half by not waiting to take planets (the culture regress is slow). I am starting to just come in an annihilate everything with several trained fleets. Even with their consolidated remaining ships, the AI doesn't understand "power at location". Simply targeting manually would deliver some kills at least, but it only autotargets (this only works with superior numbers).

Early game I have seen the AI build up fleets of about a dozne cobalts to take planets that could be taken with only about half that force and asteriods with only about a fourth.

So by the time they think they are ready to expand I have most of the planets in the solar system and then they just get angry and start placing bounty on me( I know its them!!) and crashing their economy instead of seiging my planets.

The Battleship's beam weapon will lock on and fire at the ship throughout nearly the entire journey.

If you choose to have no pirates, why does the A.I. still put a bounty on your head???
