Does the vasari still consists of many races as they originally did?

i dont know but i want to and id like to be given a clue on how much better there ships are than the other races 1s.

I don't think the Vasari in the game will consist of many races. In their history they said they assimilated races, but mostly left them on their own planets. Since the only Vasari left are part of the Dark Fleet, I think it's mostly, if not completely, the Vasari race.
