Made by the people who made City Life, this game is being dubbed it's "spiritual successor" but they say the gameplay will be more akin to SimCity 4, there's not much to go on right now, just a Q&A on SimTropolis but this game looks to be a more worthy sequel to SimCity 4 (ironically its not) and definitely a better city building game than SimCity societies, incorporating all the features of SimCity 4 (from what I can tell, transport etc).

there is no sim city 5...

they decided to call it sim city societies...

they still might make a sim city 5 if this new societies game flops...

nice find mongoose! city life sucked, so I hope this is better

Between SimCity 4 and City Life I would go with SC4 anyday. City Life was shallow compared to SC4. Why fix something if it ain't broke.

This is partially off topic to this post but I play some simcity game (i dont know which one) at a friends, and something recently occured to me: has anyone had the idea of making a simcity yellowstone national park that is relatively goelogically correct and then for fun play end of the world?
