almost pees pants

you could make a lot of money that way... as long as nobody realizes how you make them.

I cant wait to join Beta 3
I do hope that single player offers a Random Map / Custom Map generator
ie. Galactic Civ. II setting up a Huge random map!

I want the custom galaxy back for Single Player.

I do not play multiplayer so why punish us for them?

Side note: The ship's texture in game are very dark and hard to see. The graphics in beta 2 earlier version were much better.

Sigh. It's a beta. A beta is there to iron out bugs and improve the game. Sometimes things aren't finished when their released in beta state. They didn't got it to work with multiplayer atm. so the removed it to introduce it back as soon as they get it working.

Besides all that, you can mod the galaxy settings to whatever size you want, so you still have custom galaxies if you invest some minutes.

? As far as I know, they didn't change anything there.

The brightness of the objects in the game relates greatly to the skybox in use. If you have a light skybox, everything is much brighter; the opposite holds for darker skyboxes. You can choose which you prefer in the Options.
