Exploit of charecter name?

When creating a charecter, you normally can't use the manual alt+numpad (unless the 5 combos I tried don't work at all)

But, there's an alternative method to get past this.

type your character's name in notepad.

When you have completed the word you want your name to be, select it and press ctrl+c
Now, go into Sins and make a charecter. When naming it, press ctrl+v and your custom-letter name will appear.

For example, my charecter name is : ƒ¦ùƒƒŸ

Minor note: if this is against your rules, just warn me and I'll gladly delete my charecter.
EDIT: Playing a game disables *some* of the characters, however some are still there.

Congratulations. You've learned how to use basic Windows functions such as hotkey copy and hotkey paste.

May I ask, because this is something that confuses me, exactly why you needed to name your character "ƒ¦ùƒƒŸ" instead of simply "Fluffy"? It conveys the exact same meaning to an English reader, it serves only to confuse the issue as far as reproducing the exact characters of your name go.

I know that in the old Half-Life multiplayer, cheating assholes used this trick to make sure nobody could spell their name so as to start a voteban on them, but that was cleared up when the game went to identifying players by a number anyway.

So, is this your way of trying to dodge cheat-related repraisals?

I think hes just pointing out that the ingame system rejects the alternate characters when being entered there, but accepts them if its beign copy/pasted. It could be considered an exploit/glitch, even then worst that could happen is someone could try and copy a well-known player's name via that method to fool noobs or something.
