Maybe this is a stupid question, but...

when the game crashes and makes a dump file, it asks 'Would you like to send this file to the programmers who caused it and can fix it?'. If I answer 'yes' here, is the dump file send automagically, or is it just saved so I can send it myself?

Well according to the FAQ, you have to archive the dump file and email it, so I'm assuming that it's not sent automatically, but I haven't had one yet so I can't be sure..

Hmmm, I must have missed that part in the FAQ (and I still find the message a bit confusing...), guess I'll mail them just in case, better they get them twice then not at all...

Yea, so far as I know it doesn't send it. And to me it seems very silly to ask you about creating the file because many of the times where I have had a crash I was unable to get out of the game to say "yes." I had to press the reset button to get my computer back, which of course meant losing the minidump.
