Player List

stupid idlers

Well I think there should be a timer put into the lobby so that if there is no game activity for say...30 minutes to an hour....the player is logged off. It is kinda frustrating to login late at night and see a couple people on and expect to get a game only to find out they arent even there....probably even asleep with the game still running.

Or they're actually playing. You remain listed in the lobby even while in a game.

I actually have been running into the same thing. I always check the open games and recently it looks like no games are going and the same people are sitting there but are afk. Of course I am not sure if when a game starts the game is no longer listed in the join game channel. If they do disapear when the game begins then I am way off.

Well, i have suggested it to an [IC] guy in the lobby already, but i´ll also say it here:

People in the lobby playing, hosting or in some other way not availiable should get a tag behind their name automatically, like nick-playing- or nick-afk-

Yeah Im sure in the next beta or even patch the lobby will evolve and include those things as they are pretty standard lobby features.

Games do disappear from open games once they start... because they are no longer 'open'

I'm glad someone posted this topic.

It would be of great help if they added a tag/icon saying that a player in the lobby is in a game. I've logged on to play a game and it seemed no one was playing. At least now I know the reason.

yes....either a timer for the idlers or a tag for those that are playing or removing those that are playing from the list once their game launches.

something in that form should be put in. when I look at the lobby list....I expect it to contain the names of people that can and will actually respond to a conversation.
