Unable to Load Icons into IconPackager

I've been experiencing a problem these past few weeks: After successfully downloading new Icon Packages from WC, when I attempt to open or install these new Icons into IconPackager (by clicking on "open"), the program defaults to IconDeveloper.

In the past, using this same procedure (clicking "open" after successful dowload) has taken me to IconPackager, where I could locate and use the newly downloaded Icon package if desired. At this time, I am unable to get newly downloaded Icon packages into IconPackager because of the program defaulting into IconDeveloper.

I use WindowsXP, and although I've played with IconDeveloper, I'm not aware of making any changes to my download process where IconDeveloper would be the default program to open downloaded Icons. I've browsed this Forum for a few days to determine if this is a normal occurrence or if there is a quick-fix with no luck.

Any advice and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Suggest uninstall both progs and reinstall via Stardock Central but before doing so you might want to save some of the packs you have already downloaded to another file and pop them back into folder when you have reinstalled

I believe the association is by default

open IconDeveloper - tools - preferences == under files types, bet they're all checked
if so - uncheck them
Multiplicity - Control multiple PCs using one keyboard and mouse

Thank you, Leo and Bichur, for your suggestions. As it turned out, the preferences/file types in IconDeveloper WERE all checked, so I unchecked them and things are back to normal! Regards!
