There was a good question asked earlier in this thread and I did not see it answered....Will the pre-orders ARRIVE on the launch date or will they be shipped that day? waiting is one thing, but while others are playing the real thing is TORTURE!!

As far as I know if you pre-ordered the disc version from Stardock, you'll also gain access to the download - so it wouldn't matter. You could just download it, and then get the box whenever it gets there :P

At least, I think that's how it works.

AFAIK the plan is to ship when the warehouse ships. So who gets it when depends on the speed of the shipping companies more than anything. And of course as noted above you can download it while you wait as well.

Retail copies will ship on February 4th, but as Annatar said, you'll be able to download it regardless if you ordered it direct. ;)

Can't wait here as well. I've been eagerly awaiting this while lurking on the forums these past few months. I've avoided the beta because I really like to have my first impression be the finished product... now the wait's almost over!
