influence question

now that there are no intersteller lanes does the influence stop at the system edge.

Um, are you sure? I'm pretty sure I've seen influence creeping across star systems.

I definitely have. I'm not sure if this is a bug that will be fixed or an intentional part of the game, but I have seen culture move into star systems where I didn't even have any planets much less broadcast centers! It wasn't easy and took a lot of BCs in other systems (and the crushing of the local culture), but it happened.

P.S.: This is Beta 4 I'm talking about, its the only Beta I've played.
