Generally, Sins isn't terribly demanding of a game compared to some of the current releases (*cough*Crysis*cough*). It certainly doesn't require Crossfire/SLI - I can max it out at 1600x1200 with my single 8800gtx and still have an EVE client (maxed out also) running concurrently without any problems.

I know it's been said the release version will use higher res textures and will have more graphics options, but I doubt that will make a huge difference.

Bottom line is, if you're only building a box around Sins, Crossfire/SLI is a waste of your money because it's not necessary at all. If you're building an overall awesometastic gaming rig, you could consider it :P

Sins won't turn away your new system's graphical power. ;)

I'm sure some people are going to argue with me but.. spending more than around $280 on a GPU and more than about $1,000 on a PC is a total waste of cash.

P.S. If you need some GPU advice check out http://www.tomshardware.com/graphics/graphicscards/index.html

excellent site :)
