Preorder by tokens

The option is still there. Just go to the Totalgaming.net Sins of a solar empire page and preorder from there.

U sure mate cause that page also states:

Sins of a Solar Empire (Digital Download Preorder) is currently available as Pre-Order only. With token purchases, your tokens will be
immediately deducted but the product will not be available until it is officially released.

i dont unterstand the make such a mess whit this py mendts system wy dont make it esy then i alredy have the game and i think more peepol make it so i can by it whit a normal bank... and py by internet banking if u use it

That's just a generic message. In this case I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to get beta 4 off SDC until the final version goes up at or just before release.

The token link was just dropped from the main page so the option doesn't confuse people as more and more come here in the run-up to release.

For at least the 10th time - You can always get into the Sins beta with tokens.

what are the tokens? and how do we get them? and if we have 5 and use them, we can play the beta 4?

I've Pre-ordered and have an order number, but the email says being processed and I haven't heard anything since (ordered on the 8th Jan). Did mine with a credit card rather then Paypal, but the page I used was nothing like the link above, is their more then one way of pre-ordering from stardock then? I'm not so worried about getting the beta although 11 days seems like eternity, but just want to check that I have indeed pre-ordered Sins and not in fact a sweedish porn film of a similar title?

Yes, you did a standard preorder. If you do that rather than using tokens at the TGN site, you'll only get an order confirmation and won't get a serial or be permanently charged until release.

Hey I just registered after seing this thread. Ive been lurking here for about three days now and downloading multianna's game videos. Found out about sins after a search for "homeworld 3 to be developed" lol. I gotta say from what ive seen and read im totally geeking out right now and cant wait 10 days to start learning this game.

I want to preorder but id like to get the beta too! From what ive read here I can still get my hands on beta 4 this close to release? So I pay 70 bucks, become a totalgaming.net member and get 10 tokens, then i use those tokens to get into the beta somehow? Is that the way it works? haha sorry if its for the 11th time.

Thanks so much for the help and congrats to the devs! I predict this indie title will have serious buzz by at least april and will completely blow up.

Yeah, you buy your membership and 10 tokens, then you spend 5 of them on the game and you get an instant beta key in your email, then you just register it with Stardock Central and download the beta.

Please note, doing it this way is a Download Only order, you will *not* get the collector's edition box if you pre-order through TGN (but will be able to upgrade after release for additional materials + s/h fee). The only way to get a collector's edition off the bat is to pre-order from Stardock direct, but that won't get you beta acess.
