Beta tester install of release game?

In preparation of the full release game is it recommended that we remove or uninstall the Beta game & profile settings?

If memory serves we are supposed to keep a license file to prevent activation count problems. I am just trying to think ahead so the download and install goes smoothly on Feb 5th.

Updating from the beta may or may not be possible. Though it may not save you much time on the download since even many of the textures that are still used are updated to higher resolution. I'd wait until we're closer and see if anything to that effect is announced.

Well, I'll just throw out that most of the time, when updating from one beta to the other (and sometimes even patches) it was recommended that we delete the entire game, then reinstall from scratch.

Well, yes. But sometimes bugs would still creep in -- purging the folders was the only way to be sure to get rid of all out-dated data. They didn't really bother creating a proper patch for each beta release, I believe (hence the save game incompatibilities), so it won't (well, shouldn't) be an issue in the future.

Unless stated otherwise assume you need to do a full uninstall. Including deleting wiping all sins/ironclad related folders. This will ensure a fresh install, and no problems.

Anyone with the beta version installed will be forced (by SDC) to uninstall it before installing the full version. ;)

Also, How would I go about changing my order from a download, to a CD/DVD? (Or If memory servers, there was an option to do both?)
Because while I do have broadband, I have really slow broadband, and I dont really fancy waiting for ages while it downloads (It took me 6 hours to get Beta2)
