Capital Ships and Experience

How is it spread when there are multipe cap ships in a group?

I'm loving the latest SINS beta and cannot wait until the release just over a week from this posting.

However, I am curious. It seems as if fleets composed of multiple capital shpis advance in experience much slower than those who are solo. How is the experience distributed and is this done deliberately to encournage fleets of frigates/cruisers paired with only one cap ship?

It's evenly shared among all caps in the grav well, AFAIK. And I do believe that level 10 ships still 'soak' experience.

Damn, thats unfortunate. I really like having three cap ships in a fleet. An ass-kicker, a support ship, and a carrier.

i like to use 4, two kols, one sova, and an akkan.

scratch that, an akkan and 3 sovas loaded with bombers. the rest of the fleet is comprised of flak frigates and heavy cruisers.

Here's what I do: Send them off solo with a small frigate posse to wipe out unclaimed planets or to lead pirate defense, or even to the pirate base (if you do the pirate base exp trick make sure you only kill a few or they will overwhelm you :P).

Or if you are rich, just pay for training.
