DEMO ?

Hi all,

This is basically a quesiton to the developpers. I was wondering if there was any plans to release of demo of the game? I'm still on the fence on this one and before I spend the dollars on it I'd like to have the opportunity to try the game. Not only for the gameplay, but also for how well it would run on my computer. My computer is 3 years old, fits the "minimum" requirement and even a little more but I'd still like to see what those minimum requirements gives me.

Problem is, I want to know how it runs on my computer before I buy.

here are my specs:

pentium 4 3Ghz
Ati Radeon X800SE (128mb)
2GB Ram
Windows XP (soon vista)

I want to know if I can play in 1280X1024 with good graphics and constant framerate (like 30fps or so). That's why I want to try a demo. Unless stardock engage themself to refund me if the game does not run well on my computer, I will not "buy" until I can make sure it runs well on my computer.

Think it'll run sins on high at the very least, more likely highest, well, until you downgrade to vista, then i'm not sure. You have a faster videocard, but it has much less video ram than mine, but at 1280x1024 the smaller frame buffer shouldn't hurt much at all. I do get a tiny bit of lag at the start, but that's more likely because I only have 1 gig and a slow hard drive. Other than then, I don't get any lag on highest.

Well, with current graphics you could probably run at high or highest... but they are planning on bumping the high end up. (Shouldn't cost the low-end any performance, however).

I had a 256mb x850 in my old machine, and it was best at medium or medium/high. Certainly not all-high or highest though.
