Help me pls!

I love Sins!

Here is the deal.
My friend told me about this game and i watched the movie at X-play thingy
and i love IT! i play Ogame( online rts) and Supcom and i love Eve-online and Homeworld.

I got some questions..
1: is this counted as MMO or normal RTS , I watched interview at Gamespot and they said alot about LAN up to 10 people and Rankings/Ladders. and then i watched the movie from 8 jan at this site and he said something about 15 dollars a month.
2: is it worldwide release( atleast EU)ยด/or when does it come to EU and if its an MMO can i buy from US and still play with people all over the world? or am i limited to Yankees only?

1. He said that unlike MMOs you won't have to pay 15 bucks a moth for the privilege of getting your life ruined, and games are limited to 10 players, much like a traditional strategy game.

2. It'll come out in the EU later (most likely), but you can get it shipped to anywhere you want. And no you aren't limited to any nationality.

Hope this helps.

Ah cool which Universe?
47 <- there I am

1.
Its not a normal RTS its an RT4X
RTS + 4X = Sins
So its not MMO its just a "normal" (dont hate me because I said normal, awesome would be right) game. You set up a game for 1-10 people and fight.
And where the hell you guys get these 15 dollers per month fee bla blub nonsense absurdity.

THERE IS NO MONTHLY FEE

2.
Ya Yankees heheh... there is no publisher for Sins in europe YET.
There will be one, but not right now.
You can still preoder/order Sins from Stardock with or without BOX.

Like I did one year ago and Im from Germany. So no Big deal.
Just buy it :)

1) It's a normal RTS. It's not an MMORTS and there's no monthly fee. They are planning on creating a ranking/ladder system for it, though.

2) Unfortunately, the major European publishers have been very reluctant to seal the deal for the last year or so, and Stardock is currently negotiating with a smaller one and hope that the game will be on European store shelves a few months after the US release.

However, you can order it from Stardock directly and they'll ship it overseas so you can get it at the same time. If you go this route you'll also be able to download the game while waiting for the box to arrive. And, since this isn't an MMO, there's no nonesense about regional servers or whatnot.

Welp, since I was beaten to replies, I might as well ask what you do in EVE :D

Isn't it true that the host of a game becomes the 'server'? Or am I just confused?

Eh, strictly speaking you could phrase it that way. That said, this game uses -- has to use! -- a P2P structure.
