Beta Vs. Final

As far as the graphics go, a lot of the Beta effects were said to be placeholders, and the textures are lower res than what the final will have.

In short, final's going to look purdier! Ship models wise, I'm pretty sure we've been told no more models are going to be redone.

umm exactly! Release is going to be almost like a completely different game. Im still unsure as to if my system can run it at high setting! But I would feel dirty running it any other way   

So are there going to be 3 races as advertised here? I am in the beta and I can only play 2...

Yep, the Advent have never been released to the beta players.

And Pink Space Ponys are added in the Bonus Pack   

I might be mistakened, but also for the Sandbox mode, they are trying to add some of the story into that by having events/'quests' to do while playing.

Each race is going to get a 'super' weapon.
For example, I believe that the TEC get a cannon that can attack a gravity well a jump away.

NP, I wish I played more the better much earlier, its just my life got really complicated between now and earlier.

i just wanna try the Advent

I wanna see an AI that actually does some sane moves And ofc some Pink Space Pony class planets would be great. Planet colour: pink Continent shape: Pony. Someone just has to mod that if they wont include it in the retail!

space ponies are a must but only if u can upgrade them to unicorn-ponies.

too bad u cant change the tax rate like in galactic civ...like a slide bar where u can change tax rate..

the more tax rate more chance the planet will revolt and become pirates hehe.

Better graphics, nice but features wise, what has been added or twinked between beta 4 and the final release ?

Beta vs Final has too many changes to reasonably list.  Beta 4 is about 4 months old now, and a lot has been added/tweaked changed.  Of course there's the third faction (Advent), but there's also a lot of performance improvements, graphics tweaks, drastic UI improvements and more. 

And of course tons of balance work.

The pink Bunny UBER attack is obviously - The Rainbow of Caring. What happends is, they get this ridiculous boost in the rate of the socalist spread. Once fired, planets will begin to jump over to the bunny nation one by one. You have about 1 hour to displace the home planet of the bunny nation in order to return things back to their proper state

Better get rid of them bunnies early in the game

I'd watch what you say... the bunnies are watching you right this moment!  I bet they're even plotting their next attack.

The space ponies Uber weapon can be the Adorable Beam, which looks like a rainbow that turns any unit it hits into a puppy or a kitten. Planets should be little girl's head with a tiara on her head. And when you bombard the "face" the girl starts crying (feel guilty?). When the space ponies die they should explode into bottles of glue and/or dog food. There capital ship, the Princess Buttercup, has the "sad eyes" ability that makes all units firing at the ship, disengage and say "AWWWWWWWWWWW!" Instead of mining for metal, crystal, and money. They mine sugar and spice and everything nice.

note- before you get all on be about how i know all this, it is because i have a little sister thats into all of this stuff.

I'm not sure that the Pink Space Ponies would need an uber "weapon" per se. Being pink, they could make incredible use of SEP (Somebody Else's Problem) fields as cheap and low-energy cloaking devices. Invisible ships that can still fire, move, and have shields. Game over

i hope somebody makes a pink space ponie uber weapon mod with cute rainbows that travel from ship to ship, draining their hull points as they attach to more enemy ships along the line.
