In a bottom-line driven industry, the number of users/owners of any product will have a major (note that I didn't say "singular" or "exclusive") impact on ensuring the success of that product.

Everyone who has spent time on this board and time testing the various betas over the past weeks and months is, clearly, passionate about SoaSE and is, I would assume, concerned about the success of this game we have all so thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the creation of.

Thus, we should encourage new members to join our community, and we should welcome them with open arms.

In other words, lose the "noob" mentality. 2000 is calling, and it wants its negative, elitist attitude back.
