Vista 32 or 64 bit?

I was wondering if anyone would know if Sins will be able to play on Vista 64 bit or is it only for Vista 32 bit?

Since it's got the Games for Windows label, one of the criteria was that it needs to be playable on 64bit OS (if I'm not mistaken). And I'm pretty sure several people already run the beta on Vista 64 :P

Just make sure you've got the latest drivers.. they're usually the weak link on 64 bit.

But does the game actually run native in 64-bit?

nope, it was programmed in 32bit, and as i believe they have no planes on a 64bit version.

It still runs so smooth that i doubt the advantage of 64bit will be needed, even in 10 player sessions :)
Using 32bit vista here

So since it works i have another question for people with 64 bit vista, i heard that pritty much all games run on 32 bit so has anyone been having problems playing older games say from the last year on the 64?

All the troubles i had were vista exclusive (what didn't run on 64 wouldn't run on 32 either)

Yep it works great in 64B.

BTW: Please keep in mind however, if you dont have 4GBs of RAM there really is no reason to go 64B with Vista or XP for that matter.

Unless we speak of programs that are actually programmed to use 64bit, they will gain a small performance boost :)

Yeah, this is true. But sadly nearly all consumer grade products are 32B as well as a great many industrial applications.

Vista 64-bit hasn't given me any trouble running any game so far, but I'll admit it definitely depends on the title. For instance, Undercover: Operation Wintersun (an adventure game we sell on TotalGaming.net) does not work on Vista at all.

Yea ill be getting vista 64b next month but im not sure i can play my games like command and conquer, Myst, Homeworld, Starcraft, etc on it. Just wish the developers would just patch all the old games for us.

Probably 99% of the developers out there wont do patches for old titles for economic and contractual reasons. However fret not with SD it in that 1% which will.
