I played it for a while, i never customized too much, i found it sorta a waste of time. Although when you were the Eurasian Dynasties i ccustomized the last tank with full gas and full tank piecring and alternated between them, that was it the other teams i rarely used it except the anti aircraft on a Kazuar. This game does not need ship customizing.

I played 2150, and i liked that game better than 2160. 2150 had limited customization of units too. Other than that nothing really new, but it was still a fun game.

I couldnt get into 2160. It just didnt do it for me.

Warzone 2100 all the way!

I agree; the first real RTS is widely credited to be Dune 2. C&C was one of the first, but not the first (Westwood developed both games).

Definately agree with Dune 2 being the first RTS title. Still have the game and box in mint condition after all these years.

Good :) I won't have anyone contradicting my prized Westwood :P
JK. To each their own.

Ahem. C&C1 (Tiberian Dawn) came out in 1995. Earth 2140 came out in 1997. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_2140) Dune 2 came out in 1994 I believe. Also, Warzone 2100 is still one of my favorite RTS games ever created.

Thank you for that! It's not often someone references their posts.

I tried to get into 2160... But oddly enough it was the lack of Russian accents for the ED that ruined it for me. I never got past the demo. I decided to stick with Moon Project instead of upgrade.
