a Collectors version Download question?

Please help in answering..."For users who are doing download only, the Collector's Edition is only $44.95 but they will still be able to get the music CD (we'll be providing it as a digital download shortly after release) and PDF versions of the other materials (which we will also be providing after release). Since there's less physical materials, it's $5 less than the actual boxed version." I have now pre-ordered because the above suggests a download of the collectors edition is available, however when I preordered the cost was more than $44.95 and there was no download options listed on the purchase page. So my question is, by preordering this collectors edition did i just screw myself out of a weeks playtime because now I have to wait for the package in the mail, or will I be able to "also" download the collectors edition while I wait for the package via snailmail? Anyone?

If you ordered from STARDOCK , EVERY OPTION has ALWAYS offered the ability to DOWNLOAD IT.

Just curious, how much did it end up costing then if not the $44? I'm close to purchasing myself and curious why it costed more.

well I think I found the answer... :d  :d  :d  from the download faq..."Digital Download + Collector's will give you immediate access to the final game as a digital download, plus we will ship you a retail boxed copy as well (there's an additional shipping & handling fee with this option)." I assume when you preorder the collectors version (like i have) you are accually getting the "Download + Collector's" version stated above, even if it doesnt state this on the order form... Keeping my fingers crossed...

"I dunno what version he ordered..." It says Sins of a Solar Empire DvD preorder... From the cost and from where I clicked this is the collectors version.
