Strange taskbar buttons

This has happened on every version of windowblinds I have used, from evaluation to my (happily) registered copy, on two different computers (current is Turion 1.8ghz w/ 2gb ram, SiS Mirage760GX. Old computer is PIII 450mhz w/ 320mb ram, nVidia TNT Riva).
What happens is: in some skins, the taskbar buttons seem to have a horizontally flipped part on the right edge aligned with the text, unless the button is in attention mode (orange in luna). Occasionally, the right edge of a dialog box button will be misaligned where the text is (most severe in Quest).
Even odder, this seems to happen most in skins made by Stardock Design (currently using Aura, Quest is also affected).
In the screenshot below, from left to right, the button states are:
Inactive, Inactive, Active, Attention
Does anybody else have this issue, and does anybody have a fix?
I am currently using the most recent pre-release version of WB6 on my laptop. I have this issue in XP pro, and had the issue before in XP home. I have tried different graphics card drivers (most of which make Cover flow and video in iTunes unusable garbled messes of green and purple noise), to no avail. I have tested in 800x600, 1024x768, and my laptop's native resolution of 1280x800.
