Its Officially the Release Date

Well not for another 20 hours ( well that's for us downloaders I mean )

I'm guessing 13 hours. 20 hours would be 11pm Eastern and no way they'll be releasing that late.

4th of November? Surely you mean the 4th of February?

They said you'll get your emails (for digis) slowly throughout the US afternoon all the way to 8pm. I hope I am first. Goooo First!

What - why? It'd be downloadable the same time everyone else has it downloadable. Given that we're 16-odd hours ahead of the US, that means we should have it Tuesday morning. If the counter at the top has any meaning, it'll be midnight tonight.

...unless you know something I don't...

Good forum question... when is the actual time that sins will be downloadable? Should I stay up all night or will it be available when I'm done work at 5pm. This would be helpful information as I plan my sleeping and waking schedule.

They've said, in many places, that the game will be available in the late afternoon on Monday, EST. The site's timer just uses your system clock to count down to midnight, and doesn't have any relation to the time of release.

I'm guessing it will be downloadable when the countdown on this site hits 0.

So if the game is available late monday afternoon EST(eastern standard time of america?) australians will be getting it after midnight today, coinciding with when the countdown reaches zero? Ive posted all around but havnet been able to find a definite answer

nah we get it tomorow morn our 8am is their 4pm so we get it some time during the middle of the day ( for instance when im at school...) but yes the counter has no relation to actual release date its just counting to the end of the 4th
on another note this means that the game will be being released within a few hours of when i was actuly born which is kinda funny me and this game will have very close birth times

I show five (5) hours left on my clock. I guess the question is will SD/IC take the IDL into consideration. I think it would only be fair.

Everyone! Listen! The timer at the top of the page is only calculated from your system clock. If what some of you are saying were correct, you could set your system time ahead a day and the file would be instantly downloadable.
Neat idea, but unfortunately not. The timer at the top of the page is in no way related to the exact time the file becomes downloadable except that it is an approximate indicator, again based on your system time.

Aye. They said that all digital pre-orders would be completely handled by 8pm EST tonight. The mighty Frogboy speaks!

Meaning 0100 tuesday GMT.
Or 0200 tuesday CET.

Don't worry, we'll announce here on the forums and on the front page when the game has been released    We'll make it so it's impossible NOT to know in fact.  We'll be yelling it from the rooftops, posting to the forums, jumping up and down on the IRC channel etc.

In fact, if you want, join us in #sins on irc.stardock.com all day as we countdown to release.  There will be a bunch of folks from Stardock hanging out answering questions.  A few IC folks might even show up to join in on the fun.

I want to know when Sins of a solar empire will be released in Europe (Belgium). I have contacted my game provider and he said there wasn't any releasedate yet. grrrrrrrrr

It's been mentioned a couple times but they haven't got a publisher in Europe willing to sell the game. So the only way right now to get it is direct thru Stardock or if you can find a reseller that will import the game.
