*SOLVED* Is this forum bugged in Opera?

How to get Opera working correctly with this board

*EDIT*

I figured a way to (partially) solve this problem.

Instructions:

1. Right click and click 'edit site preferences'
2. Then click the tab labelled 'Network'
3. In the browser identification box choose 'Mask as Firefox' and then hit ok.

Drawbacks :

In the reply box, the options (such as smilies, Underlining, etc) just above the text box get screwed up (positioned oddly). It's only a visual error, so the options still work. Atleast the site is readable now, right?

Note: Masking as IE will not allow you to reply at all.

Original Post:

Is it just me or does this forum have serious issues when you use Opera (9.25)

Every alternate topic has these weird white bars. It makes it very hard to browse the forums. Is this something wrong on my end, or is it a general bug with Opera.

Yup, those bars should be greyish, but are white, which is rather annoying.
I personally blame IE.

I've posted this before, months ago, though I doubt the thread can be dug up...

It makes the forums unreadable almost, shouldn't this have been fixed by now? Are there even any plans to fix it?

Hrm... in firefox (by far the best browser! :P ) those are alternating black and brown lines, just enough to make things readable, rather than the reverse.

It's known, but the web team has a long list of other jobs and Opera is not used by a large amount of our visitors.

but uhm, Opera conforms to every standard there is...
It's probably the hack in use to make it work with IE that is causing opera to display it inproperly (speaks the hobby webdev)

That's unfortunate, hoping they'll get around to it eventually. I love Opera way too much to use another browser just to read these forums.

Thanks, that was driving me nuts.
