Seriosuly, this should be the fastest download experience you've ever had.


It isn't. In fact, its far from it. I can handle 5 250 KB/s downloads form fileplanet at a time (I've never seen a server go past 250 KB/s on a single file, for some reason) so I'm (persumably) bottlenecked by the 10 megabit connection between my computer and the router, but... ./shrug

I was getting 800-1000kb/s til about 50% complete, now its bogging down to 20-100, so somethings up, or there are alot more of us rabid 1st day fans....

Anyone still getting mega fast speeds?

Agreed, just that I was suprised to see the speed take such a huge hit midway though. I'd hate that if stardock and ironclad shelled out a bunch of money and didn't get the speeds they were promised from their leased lines. They need that money to buy energy drinks to make my next game :D

For people who dont have the code yet use stardock center to get an email with all of your codes with it (tools, look up serial numbers) and you might get the email with your sins of a solar empire serial with it, i am downloading the game now and i haven got the serial number email yet, but the code was in the email with all of my other serial's  :)

same here i tried it a couple of times now & had no results.


Still no key :( lol im kicking myself cause i pre-ordered like an hour before it released. if i had waited another hour id have the key now :P
