Disappointed too

Disappointed too

Sorry to say but after starting two games and playing for about 5 hours each I dont like the game anymore.

Mainly one thing : I was always attacked by three enemys at the same time - with one I had a chase fire but then he broke it up and minutes later he attacked me too. I even had no chance to get to much other planets because I was too so busy to defend my own planets.

AI is a good thing but when it's always all against you it really sucks.

I played all betas before and had no problems and big fun to play this game but now I'm frustrated an don't think I'll play this game anymore.

Sorry to say but this game is bullsh... now - I love the beta and maybe I'm a noob but I like to have fun with a a game and don't want top be aggressive after playing.
As I already said all the beta had a complete other gameplay and this sh.. is not what I have paid for.

This game really sucks now - I started a new game 8 players - me and another AI against the rest - you can bet what happened - after everything is going nice I was attacked by FIVE other players at the same time with their complete fleet.

I paid for a nice strategic game and not for a stupid all against human game.

The first updates aren't even out yet - why are you complaining? Wait another few weeks and THEN tell them you hate them, if you still do. It's just childish to throw a tantrum, especially when you don't go through all the options. Have you considered playing against 4 enemies with 3 allies? Has it occurred to you, at least when you start the game, to have an even disposition of even teams? What the hell do you think is going to happen when you play against 5 AI's at the same time, when you just have one friend? You said "you and another against the rest". That usually translates into "you and another against the rest", i.e. the enemy attacks you. It would be pretty lame if they didn't. Grow up.

Perhaps you should play multiplayer before complaining?

Sorry guys how old are you all who tell me I have to grow up or that I don't know anything about computer games? Let me guess ten years or maybe eleven? I played computer games when most of you where not even born and I don't whant to wait for a patch - this is always the same shi.. why they SELL beta releases when they sell a complete different game after it?

Yea great fun - a game with four allies against one enemy. Very strategic and logic gameplay really...

If you are such a veteran gamer, surely you realize that trolling the official forums one day after launch is not an efficient way to get your concerns addressed.

An eleven-year-old is the sort of person who would say "wouldn't it be UBER COOL if we could have CHAINSAWS that spat out BOOBIE shaped bullets?"
I assure that most of us aren't like that. Anyone on here at that age is probably mature enough (mentally) to be able to think about how profound an RT4X may well be.

"Grow up" doesn't necessarily mean physical age - has it occurred to you that grown men can be really immature? Apparently not. So I say it again. Stop complaining, and if you're going to complain, do it constructively. What you're doing isn't constructive. So: Grow up.

That or set your AI differently. Rather than, as was summed up excellently,
trolling the official forums one day after launch

. Granted, "This is a nothing post, from someone who doesn't understand what a computer game is. Or a good computer game." is not a constructive post either, but that was one of many.

Wow. I and i was just to make a post of how i love the new AI. Finally some resistance! You really need to upgrade your planets and build planetary shields. Or they will own you. Thank you Ironclad. In the beta i won every single player game even on hard. Every time.

Thank you.

Oh, and by the way:
Have you considered playing against 4 enemies with 3 allies?
End of quote

does not equate to
Yea great fun - a game with four allies against one enemy.
End of quote

Obviously. So it seems not only are you immature, but unable to read.

Life isn't fair sometimes, why should the AI be it?

Btw the only beta's that don't change to release are marketing_betas.

You over-react a little bit imo.

And no, i0m a bit older than 11 or 12 or ....

....
Irgendwie typisch deutsch.

Ich hab weder die beta gespielt, noch bin ich ein sins FB, kleine Frage was spielst Du sonst? Nimmt mich echt wunder.

Give it time, there is still much to learn. I personally started my first game on normal AI and was destroyed, I was still under other games mentality that normal AI is still pretty easy and a good starting point.

Well not for Sins, when you start out I recommend you set it to easy defensive on small maps then work your way up. Later I will progress to easy AI FFA 3vs3 so I can ease my way into learning diplomacy and bounties with more players easily. I started at 2vs2 and that was not a good idea at all.

I have done a 3v3v3v1 game with friends online. I have literally watched multiple encounters happen within a worhorm. I was fighting one player, while two other computer players fought each other. Then some other players fighting as well as the battle continued. I've also seen Pirates help me destroy a planet without attacking me until afterwards.

Maybe all of the computer players were allied and attacked you. Same thing happens in countless other games. Civilization 1-4. Masters Of Orion 1-3. Galactic Civilization 1-2.

HAHA! IC is releasing an update already (pinned on main forum)!

"This week's update will add some new maps (maps without pirates for those who want pirate-free games). It will also cure the annoying bug where games in progress wouldn't dissappear off Ironclad Online (ICO) and so you'd get a "rejected by host" message when in fact it should have disappeared or said "game has started". And the tutorials are fixed for users running at high resolution."

Looks like Trust (and others) prayers have been answered. I guess they listen to the whiners too! :-O

Whats wrong with getting stomped by the ai?

If they're attacking you all together at once, you've obviously pissed them off. Don't do that, or lock teams.

A common reason for them to unite in these games is when you start to look too threatening number wise, no matter how aggressive or competent you may be.

kein Problem. :)

Sometimes i miss a bit the etiquette by criticize a game, i mean no problems with that, but just throw words like shit/crap ect. at the product, is not a very constructive way IMHO. to tell the Developers something. ;)

Btw i have no problems with loosing a game, got on a 2h game backstabed by the ai, no problems with that, i only get better and after watching the records i learn from my mistakes, and one diff. SP to MP, humans make mistakes, AI's do not.(ok unless the Dev. want it to do mistakes.)
