Running on older PCs

I'm interested in having LAN parties of Sins of a Solar Empire, but most of us have oldish computers (ie, lucky if we have 64mb of video ram, some have 32). I've seen games before that listed their min requirements as 128 megs of video ram but would run even on 32 megs. Is this such a game? We meet all the other requirements, including a passion for very long LAN games.

To answer my own question: With all of the graphics settings set at low (ie, no AA, everything in the 'Effects' options set at low or none) the game runs great on a 2.4ghz P4 with 512 megs of ram and a Geforce 420 Go (32 mb of video ram). I haven't had any battles with more than 30 ships or so, but so far it has been quite playable. It gets a tiny bit choppy when you zoom in on battles, but other than that there are no problems.
