Had a discussion with Leinad in IRC today, and we both feel the 1 lab techs need love! They are good techs but they are not worth researching till later in the game, unlike tier 1 military techs. We both feel that moving colonize tech to tier 1 and moving the others up a tier would be best.

This is especially true for Vasari who seem to have a terrible time with the Civic techs. I think Vasari need civic overhaul because 4 lab tradeports are really terrible, and 3 lab Refineries are not worth it! Because it still costs extra research to get to them, on top of that they cost 1500 credits a Pop! Try putting up refineries without tradeports
