Assign Starting Position?

In a skirmish or multiplayer game is there any way to choose the starting positions of each of the players? It seems like the placement is random for each game, and I couldn't find any option to assign players to a certain starting planet. If this isn't in the game yet, is there any chance that it will be coming in a later patch?

I would like this for a pseudo OBs map, unless they implement true obs. Because even if I scuttle my homeworld, there is now an undefended terran planet, and I still have ton of cast to mess with people VIA bounty hehehehee.

Yeah the fact that some times you start in the middle of the other teams empires does indeed get annoying.

You can set it to do this in galaxy forge made maps, but yes is a shame about the lack of locked starting positions.
