How do you win a game?

Yes, the question is pretty stupid, i killed all the enemy's planets, there are some spaceships around the system and that mining ''colony'' that is invulnerable (but you can capture it).

What i must do to win?

Killing all the enemies planets should have done it... did you miss one or something?

All the colonies destroyed. the thing that survived isn't an asteroid-colony but a mining piece of rock.

Try using a colony / scout ship to capture it, lol.

You should have won, unless you missed something.

The AI has a nasty habit of sneaking around your fleet and recolonizing planets you just took out.

I solve this by having 2 fleets when conquering territory's.
-First one is all combat ships intended to wipe out opposing fleets and any defenses along with structure of interest (like that capital ship yard building something).
-The second fleet is for mopping up. One capital colonization ship, 5 to 10 siege frigs and about 10 LRM frigates (maybe some assault frigates). You move this fleet in once all opposition has been removed and proceed to take over his planet and remove all structures while you wait.

So in short, colonize as you conquer (but don't forget to upgrade the planets so you don't run into debt).

Do some more exploration. There's some phase lines there you haven't charted, he's probably hiding there.

Nope, there is nothing; the only place where a base could be is far to the left, beem there destroyed everything, i'm running without ideas, there is a way to see in-game stats of the game and the victory screen or movie?

Have you explored the asteroid field directly north (^)of the star?

The phase line to the ''north'' leads to an asteroid belt, no planet, no asteroid or even mini asteroids to put a mining colony

If you quit you get all the end game stats.

Ok, i made a custom map, then saved it and hitted the PREVIEW button and started to play.

Could be this the problem?
I mean maybe i'm not playing really but testing the map?

when i press quit, i go to the create map thingy.

weird though if you sure you got all the planets you might
post a message on the forum for the devs is maybe a bug

Yeah, if it's a custom map it's probably ba-roque. Especially since you punched the preview button.

Well, i tried with my brother-in-law save (a quickstrike), i quited and the chart with the stats appeared.

So it's a problem with a custom map or the preview thing, i can't fin anything related to it in the PDF.

I believe the preview thing is the problem. I never knew you could actually do anything on a preview map. There is no fog of war and the AI just sits there. Perhaps if you start building the AI becomes active.

Your best bet is to save the map (not the round you just played) and load it and play a normal game.

Yes, the AI is pretty active, he conquered 2 planets, built a huge army and as you said NO FOW

Be damned, i did as you said, you can load that map...

I guess that i lost 6 hours aprox (well, not lost because learnt how to play it), still don't understand the preview thing...
