Explosion effects and debris

Hey all, been playing all last night, (7 hours and 4 minutes) and really love this game, reminds me of a 2D version that i used to play years ago where you only see the solar system.
Anyway, to my main point...

I was wondering if anybody is going to create more dynamic effects for the weapons and explosions and more debris, I've noticed that the explosions are too small and don't last as long as i would hope (just to make it look pretty) and theres definitely not enough debris from wrecked ships and stations. This NEEDS to be done to make this game just, well, perfect.

If anyone is thinking about it then, we should do it.
Who's with me?

more wrecks/wreckage would certainly add some needed detail for after battles. At the very least capital ships should have wrecks due to there size.

Yes, definitely.
Whoever has played Haegemonia will know what I'm talking about, the effects and wrecks in that are amazing, truly spectacular.

I agree. There are several visual details that irk me like the tiny, less than explosive explosions from blown up ships and the lack of persistent debris after they're destroyed (my machine's a beast, so I could easily swing the option of having X number of debris fields in play at any one time, much like an FPS's decal limit), and the slightly off-looking traffic around planets. There's something about that traffic that just looks... beta-ish.

The only other thing I can think of is brighter lasers. Flashier, ya know? But I can live with the way it is.

Yeah, flashier, I know what you mean, like a little thicker and beastly like.
I agree with you on the planet traffic aswel, needs a small touch up.
