seemed to focus too much on the fact that this game doesn't really have a problem, it seems to me that game reveiwers are lagging behind just like the RTS industry is too.

Personally i've never heard of these people before so am not really going to value their "review"

I'm confused. You don't see our site as a brand and thus don't value the content? You should take the content as it is, and not base it on a brand. If someone took dog food and put a brand name label on it would it be good to eat?

I prefer cat food... :NOTSURE:

Hmm, Cat Food tends to smell to fishy. (Anyone else get the feeling we are near going way of topic!)

Another good review!  :CONGRAT:

And the biggest criticism is the dullness of space combat? Most of the time I don't even bother to see combat up close. But, great games are in the details and I guess that's something to think about... after more important things get improved.

Maybe a "berserker" mode in fleet options?

It really is rather hard to find points about the game which are negative!

:"I want the larger ships to move, buhu! :SNIFF!: "
Dammit! Why would you like them to move by themself into unfavorable positions? In fact, why does anyone want this? ;:[!?] It would be bad for the gameplay.

The fact such a minor thing was the only real negative I could find about the game should tell you something, but I do stick by it. :]

I'm aware capital ships shouldn't be jumping around like mental, but the only ships that move at all are too small to even see at a decent angle. Theres plenty of TV shows and Games that manage to make space combat interesting, and while it's only a superficial thing, I do think it matters a little.

As for it being bad for gameplay, it'd only be bad from a 'realism' perspective, I think? And after all, you don't play the game with the sound effects off for 'added realism', so why play the game where no ships move for added realism?
