Speeding up the Game

Any news on adding the extra fast gameplay mode for speed junkies...

Also, is there a way to make the fleet travel faster in the gravity well especially if the fleet is only passing through the planet en-route to another destination?

Yes, besides setting the game speed you can now hit the - and = buttons to put the game into accelerated play modes (currently only for single player).

The 2nd suggestion is in the game but not currently activated. You can play with it by tweaking the speed values in gameplayconstants once we release the mod material.

Cool! Checking in everyday just in case you guys post a new update.. Currently spending on average 4-5 hours a day playing the maps. I have not tried MP yet as my connection is very2 slow. But so far I have increased the number of AI opponents up to 5. hehe..
