ships never miss

hey guys
im kinda new to this, since i didnt get the beta, but has anyone else noticed how ships never seem to miss when firing weapons?

i remember one time when one of my capital ships (i think dreadnought) fired on a target that was moving laterally to it

i cant be sure, but i think that the projectile (your standard non-homing bullet) actually curved out of it's flightpath and hit the ship!

what does everyone think should be about this? is there going to be a patch to fix this?

p.s. i was using v1.02 patch

They do miss. I've seen it. The only thing that I don't believe i've seen miss is lasers. All other weaponry I've seen has missed. Also, don't forget... your target's are mostly stationary. Makes it kind of easy.

yea i agree some times ship guns should miss but the thing is that the only race that uses projectile weapons, the tec, would be at a a huge disadvantage against the vasari and advent who solely rely on a weapons of plasma and lasers

the tec also have the homing missles though, those things sometimes curve through an entire gravity well and swing around to hit the target

also, it seems that when a ship launches a salvo of missles, it swings around to the next target if the missles will kill the ship, very useful but not very cool looking
