Would be a lot of fun. We should see if the Halo mod for EaW guys are willing to part with a couple of their models. They already had several of them up to the point where they only needed texturing, which is a large chunk of the work right there.

Halo might be interesting. The only thing you would have to do is make up some of the ship designs seeing how the game only shows a UNSC ship in Halo 1 and some Covenant cruisers in the end or so (Only played Halo 1). The Halo books however give allot more insight into the number of ships and there varieties.

You see a fair few new ships in the second and third games, in the third game the only really good thing I can say about it is that they showed some newer and higher detail UNSC and Covenant ships.

And there's a few people discussing Stargate Mods already.

I TOTALLY SUPPORT A HALO MOD.
sorry i had to get that out. having read some of the halo books space battles have a much larger part than in the game and would love to see them. right now im horrible at moding so i cant help anyone out (even though i dont think that was asked) but this game seems perfect for a halo mod. PLEASE MAKE ONE  :D

halo first offensive are tight arses, they wont give away models, im part of the Halo: homefront project for homeworld 2, and were supposed to be 'partners' but they dont do anything >.>

they havent had an update since christmas.

What would be the factions? UNSC, Covenant and Forerunner machines or Flood?

Have fun suffering the same fate as Halogen.
I don't mean to rain on your parade, but Micro$oft can be a pain.

You do realize that Halo mods have the tendancy to get shut down right?

you do realise the halogen was shut down for using copyrighted material from one game, and putting into another, then claiming it as their own, which is breaking like every copyright law ever. Oh and because of halo wars.

i hope to start within the next year or two

A Halo mod would be most wonderful in my opinion. None the the Halo Mods I know of are playable yet. T-T

I'd think a smaller scale mod like this would be should probably just stick to the UNSC and Covenant factions. Enough work already.

Halo mods don't get shut down. Halogen was shutdown because of Ensemble's Halo Wars. Not because it was a halo mod. Bungie doesn't mind that kind of thing.

Point: A Halo mod for Sins would be awesome.

Bungie doesn't own the Halo IP, Microsoft does.

I do think it would be cool to see the space combat side of halo though.

i think microsoft only owns the name i think bungie owns the actual intellectual property but i could be wrong someone should ask bungie maybe i will if i have time

halo first offensive are better than halo himefront. no offense but they are. and their updates are better than the homefront updates are.

n how many models have you given away? dont call them tight asses if you dont give away all your models.

that looks really good. but. u should get a moddb site for it for more publicty. the halo first offensive forums are here

http://z7.invisionfree.com/Ascendancy_Studios/index.php?act=idx

invisionfree sucks. but. its better than no forum at all.

There are allready Halo mods and Stargate mods in the works for SOASE at the moment.

And as for Halo first offensive, they need to be carefull. Halo mods in general don't get shut down, but Halo mods with ground combat do (Cuz of halo wars). And First Offensive is an EAW mod, which means ground combat. You keep advertising so much and you'll get a cease and decease order.
