So you make a product and somehow you manage to get it at the store where millions of people see it. Pretty exciting eh? Thanks to the support of PC gamers, Sins of a Solar Empire is now at retail in most of North America.

Now, to thank you back, here's what we're going to do:

Take a picture of you (or a loved one) holding a Sins of a Solar box at a store, post the picture here in the comments along with which store you were at and get a chance to win an official Sins of a Solar Empire T-shirt.

The first 20 people to post pictures will automatically get one (we'll email you with shipping info and shirt size).  After that, we'll randomly select good pictures and keep sending shirts out while supplies last.

Guys, I ordered mine online too, but I think the point of the contest is to show the product at a retail chain.. because it's a pain for good indy companies to get into brick and mortar stores.That's why I went down to Fry's to take the pic, despite having bought it online.

I am, at present, located in The Middle of Nowhere, Vermont. Furthermore, I don't have a car. Getting to any sort of store is largely beyond me right now.

Wll there he goes again.

I went down to 2 more stores, this time in Cherrry Hil,l New Jersey.

The wal-mart on rt 38 did not carry the game and the game Stop did not have any copies.. I am never going to get a Shirt at this rate!

Are there still slots open for random winners? I have a big idea that I'm working on here. ;)

EDIT: Here we go! It didn't come out great thanks to the shiny boxes which obscures the names on a few, but I think it still holds up. The one on top is the copy I bought last weekend. EB was the only store in town that had it in stock and they only had the one. The other Sins box you see there is a collectors edition that they got in yesterday.



The store employee wanted in on the picture. Found in an EB Games in Peterborough, ON. :)

EDIT2: The forum software doesn't like imageshack thumbnails so you'll have to do with a hotlink.

My lack of car and living nowhere near a store kind of defeats this option.

Also, you guys should sell the shirts too! I'd definitely buy one if I didn't win one.

I was being attacked by Vasari and Advent assassins when I took this (they're upset that I won't let them play). One of them tried to "blend in" by donning a santa claus hat. Unfortunately for them, their molecular make-up became altered during their travel via a wormhole. Due to the changes, their efforts to destroy me are futile as their fluffy soft teeth are unable to penetrate my superior human skin.
