Problems hosting and joining a NETWORK game.

A trouble!

Friend of mine living in the same house as me (We're on the same network) is having problems creating or joining any SOASE games, it simply tells him that he's been disconnected. His window's firewall is disabled and he has no other network monitoring programs to speak of. Any idea's folks?

the same is happening to me, and i can't find a solution anywhere..port fowarding, router settings...none of it helps.

I personally had the same problem, but I've been running with window's firewall enabled- I simply unblocked it and added to the Exceptions list and it rectified the problem for me. Unfortunately he says he never had the firewall enabled at all in the first place- I had him add the program to the exception lists and forwarded all the ports ANYWAY, but no dice.

I was having the same problem, and just as I found this thread my anti-virus popped up (McAfee) asking to grant access to Sins. It was about five minutes after I had closed the game, though... Wierd.

Anyway, I was able to log on without any troubles after that.
