AHHHchievements

In the folder before the save game folder there is a "setting" folder. Open that, there is a achievements.achievements file in there. I haven't tried it but I think that is the file you need to copy.

I should probably point out that the path is
C:\Users\[Insert account name here]\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ for Vista and
C:\Documents and Settings\[Insert account name here]\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

I had moved that entire "\Sins of a Solar Empire" folder but looks like Vista didn't let everything transfer, I did it again as administrator and I have my achievements again. Thanks for the help!

Did you get the Space Pony one?...i've played about 12 games so far and i haven't gotten it and don't know how. -sniff-

I played a huge map and controlled 20 planets and DIDN'T get Space Ponies!!!! I'm enfuriated on the inside.

I'm happy spoilers were removed before I got back to this post! I do not have space ponies yet. I'm missing 4 hard AI, I tried several times with 5 hard opponents on Gateway but I kept getting gang banged, I'll try this weekend again now that I have a bit more experience. I'm also missing most of the destroy x amount of ships *(Pirates, traders, refiners, etc.). Aside from the 4 hard I really haven't had trouble with any of them, just playing games with goals in mind while running through the small maps with 1 hard opponent.

Oh and I don't have the wormhole travel. That was funny, first map I saw a wormhole on was the game I was doing military research without civilian so I didn't have the tech to traverse it, DOH!

Well, the comp I had the achievements on has been shipped off to storage so I guess I have to start over. No big, I got 15 months to get em all.

btw. can we mod/add some new achievements ?

Achievements mean less (to me at least) when they aren't stored on a global server thats secure... Like Xbox for example.

I suppose the "single player" game could be considered the achievements... as the only other "single player" we have is skirmish vs AI.

Anyway, some pretty crazy ppl to try and get them all... I noticed a few required some.. not so fun games.

I've got most of the achievements now. The ones I'm missing are pop idol (which is broken), and the six retarded ones [play through doing all military and no civilian research, and vice versa, for each faction - there's six long, pointless games I don't have the time for].

I was lucky enough to get space ponies on one of my first games, and I got archiologist on my last huge random map

Luddite - win a game without researching a tech
Old scrooge - spent less than 50000 credits to win a game
Isolationist - don't colonize other planets / asteroids
Planet destroyer - wipe out 30 planets in a single game with novalith cannon
Micro-machine - 20000 user actions in a single game
Lazy one - less than 1000 user actions to win a game
Hardcore - won a game vs 7 Hard AI
Insane - won a game vs 7 Team fixed Allied Hard AI
Preferred Pirate Target - Suffered at least 100 pirate raids in a single game
Capital ship graveyard - lost 30 capital ships in a game
Survivor - received 250000 bombing damage
