Comand Line Switches

Most PC games have some amount of command line switches to enable or disable various options that may or may not be available through the game's options menu.

I tried the all mighty Google for a list of such commands, but came up empty handed.

I like to play games in windowed mode, but have only the taskbar visible. That way I can keep track of time (always a good thing :P) and see when people send me messages on WLM. It's possible in Sins with the windowed mode and then use the size option on the taskbar to stretch the game to the required dimensions. The problem is that this has to be done each time the game is started.

I'm mostly interested in a command line switch(s) that will open the game window at the dimensions I set.

If there are any switches, then list those too. They could be useful to someone.

I'm interested in the command line switches as well.

For a clock you should use XFire. You can pin a transparent clock anywhere on the screen.

None have ever been publicized that I'm aware of, and I don't expect there are any since those things are all set in the settings file anyway.

Personally though I just run in a window and maximize it. No need to specially stretch it to fit the desktop.

I have to stretch it otherwise it shows up as a smaller window. I have it set to run Maximized, but I still have to stretch it for it to cover the maximum space on my screen.

It stays a 1032 x 798 window no matter what resolution I set in the options or shortcut properties. My screen resolution is 1280 x 1024, so I have to stretch it.

EDIT: I managed to get it to maximize by creating a new shortcut, but when I get to the main menu the button being selected doesn't correspond with where I'm pointing my mouse. I point my mouse on 'Single Player' for instance and 'Multiplayer' will light up.
