I'm not sure but I doubt it, that was built by the Ancients long ago.

Not exactly but a model for the Asurans will look very similiar to her.    And  Yes it will be in the next update for sgi.

Awesome!!!!! Can't wait, played the mod soo much now...i need more!!!!! Wish there was some way i could help out abit but i am skill-less! I feel a online game should be planned soon maybe???? When dya think the next ones going to be out?

When I try to download the mod, it gives me a Internet Explorer file.  Why isn't it Winzip?

it is probably because the link in the OP for downloading is a LINK to adrive web page that has the actual download link in it, not a direct link to  a file.

I have the same issue when I go to the Modb page to download the mod.  Can someone send me the mod over email so I can drag it to the Mod Folder, or will I have the same issue?

The mod is not a zip file it is a RAR you would need Winrar or something like that to open it. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Hey Guys,

first thing to say for me is:

absolutely brilliant work. what a damn good modification.

But I still have a question. Is it normal that nearly every button I move the cursor upon is saying: "String not found"?

I also tried to copy and overwrite the "GalaxyScenarioDef" file in the following folder:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.051\SGI TAURI\GameInfo

I have the nice stargate atlantis music in mainmenu and I also see its stargate in background but the Races still have the names of the old game "Vassari, advent" and so on.

Is this "normal", depending on the percental progres of this mod, or did I do anything wrong?

 

Please help guys....

No that is not normal, I myself are not sure what your problem is, I the model man not the code man. I'm sure the next time JT is on he can leave a post. Unless someone in here knows your issue.

The Mod itself is working fine, but most of the names of "lasers, ships, stations" and even the names of the races are are the same. also the tooltips and research trees does have the new pictures but not the text.... that one says: "String not found".

I hope you know how to help me to fix my problem.

WIP means "WORK IN PROGRESS" 

You can learn to add the descriptions and names to the String\English.str with notepad. If you add a string be sure to update the count.

7-Zip (free open source) will open any compressed archive.

i think i know your problem

that happend bevore with the SOA2 mod

because a friend of mine instaled his normal sins(ore was it entrencment^^) in german (because we are germans ^^)

because of that the mod hasent used its descreptions ore names (dont know why maybe the seraching way is another in german than in the englisch game)

if you have instaled it in german uninstall it and than install it again in englisch

Not sure but if it is a German or other language install you might rename the String\English.str to German.str in the mod. The string file exact name should be in the root dir String folder as I am not sure of the name.

great mod

the only thing i have to recommend is maybe tweak the commerce stats, because playing as Tauri it was SOO hard to raise sufficient funds to build a decent fleet

other than that, i cant think of anything other than keep it up and i cant wait for the full thing

I have the same issue with the download. the adrive.com does not give up the download.  When I do the click here if it doesn't start, and it doesn't, then I'm redirected to a html page with noting but symbols.

Hi ho,

Melik88: You are right. I also installed the game in german because i am german, too

But in order to keep all others here informed I write it in english.

I haven't tried your sollution yet but I find it most likely that it will work.

For now I try to rename the .str file like myfist0 said (thanks by the way )

 

I will tell you if it worked.
