Do "in the area" buffs stack?

Do abilities like the faster cooldown of beams on advent carrier, or the colonize tec cap ship which increase range and hit chance stack? So if you use 2 advent carriers you get double the effect?

click on a ship in the area of effect and the buff stats should be listed at the bottom of the info popup

I don't think anyone knows...

That said, for balance reasons if nothing else I doubt they'd let that kind of thing stack. And judging from the non-stacking of the Advent's Kodiac analog's AoE damage ability, I don't think other similar abilities would stack.
