Mobile graphics cards and laptop questions.

Just wondering if anyone knows much about them because I... must... play... Sins...

I am getting a laptop soon and I really want to play sins on it. I have seen a bevy of different options but two stick out, the GeForce 8600 GT and the Radeon HD 2600 (512meg of memory on both). While they seem decent, I am leery of any mobile graphics card, as they are not supposed to be very good. I will be playing the game in a resolution of around 1280 by 800 but I will want to max out the graphics options. So will either of these mobile cards be able to do this and what kind of performance can I expect?

This laptop will have two baseline specs as it is for work as well. These are a 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of PC 54000 ram. My HD is most likely going to be a 5400 rpm drive, is this bad? Last thing to mention is I will be running Vista Home Premium (64 bit), I know, I know. I still like Vista though...

If anyone can help me out I would be grateful.

Well, I can't speak on those cards themselves, I run Sins (and just about everything else I run) on a laptop. GeForce Go 7600 card, so not terribly new, and it runs fine. Won't hit absolute max settings without too much slowdown, but at everything at high or better (I think), it runs fine.

I play mine on a laptop, 2.2Ghz C2D, 3Gb RAM, 32bit Vista, 8600GT, the only difference is the 7200rpm drive, but that'll only effect loading times really. I have everything on highest detail, and works great!!
